Maestro Dobel Humito smoked blanco tequila lays claim to being the first smoked tequila to be released to the market. This innovative and unique product stands out against tequila flavour profiles that are traditionally not smoky at all. Unlike mezcal this smoky tequila is not cooked in conical ground ovens over wood, it is still baked in brick ovens but later smoked with mesquite wood to add additional layers of complexity reportedly present in tequila that was made back in the 17th century.
Notably smoky and complex, with forward notes of encino, mesquite wood and fruity floral tones. Perfectly balanced sensations of buttery caramel, cooked agave, olive and dried fruit.
A delicate and satisfying bouquet of sweet caramel flavours with maple and honey top notes, layered with the essence of fresh cut mesquite wood. The finish is long on the palette with hints of roasted nuts and vanilla.
