At the heart of Kirin Ichiban is Ichiban Shibori with Ichiban meaning "first and best", and shibori meaning "to wring, squeeze or press". This unique brewing method uses only the first press of the wort extracted from 100% malt. The first press technique creates a cleaner smoother beer with less bitterness.
